Grab your lunch and hop on Zoom to chat with colleagues and industry leaders. Each month, we'll pick a topic and bring in a speaker to share ideas and knowledge, and then we'll open the floor for questions and conversation.
How much do you know about community foundations? Are they something mysterious, or just another nonprofit? Jo Theodosopoulos of the Minneapolis Foundation has worked in community foundations for over a decade. She’ll give a little background on their origin, how they differ from other nonprofit organizations, and how they compare/contrast with commercial entities that offer similar “philanthropic vehicles”. Bring your questions, as this will be an open discussion!
