The June book club selection is The Givers: Wealth, Power & Philanthropy in a New Gilded Age by David Callahan. Join us via Zoom on June 24th at 4 pm for a conversation about the role of wealth in public life, its impact on democracy, and on addressing the most pressing issues of our time. The book is available on Amazon, Audible, or through your local library or favorite book store.
While we hope you will find time to tackle all, or even part of, The Givers, we know that busy lives mean it can be difficult to carve out reading time. If you only have 30 minutes, you can hear David Callahan talk about The Givers at this author event hosted by the Free Library of Philadelphia. Either way, we hope to see you on June 24th!
